Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct supportive individual therapy sessions in conjunction with the supervising nurse, maintaining a strong focus on the patient’s therapeutic goals.

• Observe and record relevant patient information accurately, contributing to the overall treatment plan during interaction.

• Provide orientation to patients and their families about the therapeutic environment, helping to alleviate concerns and foster engagement.

• Assist patients with personal and practical needs as required, ensuring that they feel supported throughout their treatment journey.

• Develop clear and timely progress notes that are completed by the end of each shift and accurately reflect the progress made toward treatment goals.

• Demonstrate proficiency in time management, establishing priorities to ensure efficient service delivery while providing empathetic care.

• Advocate for additional patient services when necessary, collaborating with the treatment team to optimize patient outcomes.

• Monitor patients for behavioral changes and report these to the interdisciplinary team, showcasing knowledge of warning signs for aggressive behavior.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Demonstrated ability to evaluate client needs, formulate treatment plans, and provide recommendations for intervention.
