Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate each client’s substance use and mental health history, utilizing standardized tools and interviews to formulate effective treatment plans.

• Develop individualized treatment strategies that focus on behavioral change, using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions aimed at fostering personal growth and recovery, actively utilizing telehealth technologies for remote sessions.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, medical professionals, and case managers to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Provide families with educational resources and support, involving them in the recovery process and emphasizing the importance of their role in maintaining sobriety.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with confidentiality regulations and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in the state of California.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• A strong foundation in addiction counseling and an understanding of treatment modalities related to substance use disorders.

• Proficiency in delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions and familiarity with integrated treatment for co-occurring disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills alongside the ability to develop trusting relationships with clients, fostering a safe space for treatment.

• A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and navigate challenging interpersonal dynamics effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in outpatient therapy, specifically within substance abuse treatment settings, is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
