Renewed Counseling Hub is actively searching for passionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our Behavioral Health Team. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to work remotely, providing crucial support to children and families as well as community clients in Chula Vista, California. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will take on a variety of responsibilities critical to your client’s mental health journey:

• Provide individualized counseling sessions as well as group and family therapy tailored to the specific needs of assigned populations.

• Engage in child and family counseling for clients meeting the medical necessity and DSM V diagnostic criteria, ensuring accurate assessments and interventions.
\n
• Develop and facilitate psycho-educational groups and classes addressing parenting skills and mental health awareness, adapting content to meet community needs.
\n
• Complete all necessary client documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and statistical reporting in a timely manner to ensure compliance and quality of care.

• Meet contractual obligations by maintaining and documenting a determined number of reimbursable therapy hours to ensure financial sustainability for our organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The role primarily focuses on serving children and families dealing with a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Through therapeutic care, counselors will be instrumental in creating safe spaces for healing, fostering resilience, and empowering clients towards positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, ensuring a robust foundation in therapeutic practices.

• Current licensure as LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California, validating your expertise in mental health counseling.

• A maximum of 3 years of professional experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating your commitment to fostering mental wellness.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively balance client caseloads and administrative tasks.

• A self-motivated work ethic, with an ability to initiate necessary actions regarding hour billing and thorough documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

While a maximum of three years of experience is required, we highly value dedicated professionals showing adaptability and a strong passion for mental health advocacy. Experience in outpatient settings or familiarization with telehealth practices is preferred, as this role will utilize various digital platforms to connect with our clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
