Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for clients utilizing evidence-based practices to develop personalized treatment plans tailored specifically to their needs.

• Implement therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), taking into account the unique circumstances of each client.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records consistent with HIPAA regulations, ensuring compliance with all necessary legal standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to coordinate holistic care strategies.

• Participate in case consultations and peer reviews to continuously enhance the quality of the therapeutic interventions provided.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and available resources within the community to promote a comprehensive support network.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, you'll work primarily with adult clients who are coping with various mental health issues including depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and substance use. This diverse client population requires a personalized approach and understanding of cultural contexts and individual experiences. The role involves not only delivering therapy but also advocating for clients and bridging gaps to essential resources in the community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
