Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents to determine their unique therapeutic needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based methodologies, family dynamics, and developmental considerations.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, aimed at alleviating symptoms associated with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to support the entire family unit in creating a nurturing and supportive environment.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated care for young patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support, effectively assessing and responding to emergency situations involving mental health crises.

• Educate patients and families about mental health issues, treatment pathways, and available community resources, fostering a partnership in care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• At least two years of experience providing direct mental health services, preferably with children and adolescents.

• Strong foundational knowledge of various child and adolescent mental health disorders and therapeutic approaches.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and delivering both individual and family therapy.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on empathy and a child-centered methodology.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and standard computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
