Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients experiencing mood disorders, identifying the severity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.

• Create and implement customized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on their specific needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support and enhance clients’ mental well-being.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to foster understanding and resilience.

• Monitor and track the progress of clients throughout their treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to their individualized plans to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated and multifaceted care for each client.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and contribute actively to team meetings, enhancing your clinical skills and broadening your understanding of best practices in mood disorder treatment.

• Act as an advocate for clients facing stigma related to mood disorders, ensuring their mental health needs are communicated and supported.

Our clientele consists of a diverse population experiencing various mood disorders, inclusive of depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• Demonstrable expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities related to mood disorders, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• A strong working knowledge of psychopharmacology and the capability to collaborate effectively with prescribing psychiatrists.

• A proven history of successful client outcomes in treating mood disorders is essential.
