Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews to gather client histories, documenting cases from the initial consultation through to the conclusion of treatment.

• Assess clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional well-being using clinically recognized evaluation tools.
\n
• Design and implement tailored intervention and recovery plans that address the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that encourage open communication and foster a supportive atmosphere.
\n
• Monitor client progress against treatment goals, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing needs.
\n
• Collaborate with fellow mental health specialists, primary care doctors, nurses, and social workers to develop comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Provide ongoing communication with psychiatrists and attending physicians regarding clients who may be hospitalized, ensuring continuity of care.

• Identify behaviors that may hinder recovery initiatives, offering strategies to mitigate these challenges effectively.

• Support family members and primary caregivers with resources and guidance to manage mental and behavioral health concerns.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, addressing various mental health conditions and emotional challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
\n
• Successful completion and a passing score on the NCE and/or NCMHCE examinations.
\n
• Solid experience in providing mental health counseling services to a varied clientele.

• Proficient in using electronic health record systems like AVATAR.
\n
• Understanding of co-occurring disorders, including underlying physical and emotional health conditions as well as addiction treatment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Deep knowledge of the pharmacological treatments implemented by medical specialists and their implications for mental health.

• Highly refined written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and multidisciplinary team members.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, alongside a sign-on bonus.
