This position operates in a remote setting, utilizing telehealth platforms to connect with patients. The work schedule is primarily Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet the unique needs of patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and identify personalized treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and empower clients towards resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions aimed at facilitating clients’ processing of traumatic experiences and developing effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, integrated care for each patient.

• Provide timely crisis intervention support during episodes of trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping skills, equipping them with resources to navigate challenges.

• Accurately maintain client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards within electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in regular case consultations and professional development sessions focused on the latest trends in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, primarily focused on individuals who have experienced varying degrees of trauma. This includes those dealing with PTSD and complex trauma resulting from various life experiences, such as abuse, loss, or other distressing events. Your expertise will play a crucial role in not only addressing their immediate mental health needs but also in supporting their long-term emotional growth and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in trauma-focused therapy.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach are vital in this line of work.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
