Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to maintain a better work-life balance while still making a significant contribution to our community. Our outpatient facility promotes a collaborative atmosphere, where each team member's contributions are valued. You will work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs. Our remote setup ensures that you can deliver quality care while actively participating in team meetings and case consultations online.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, evaluating patients' trauma histories to determine effective treatment approaches.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental well-being.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient healing.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe and supportive space for patients to process trauma, build coping strategies, and develop personal resilience.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to deliver integrated and comprehensive care to patients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies or challenges.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources to enhance their healing process.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Engage in case consultations, ongoing professional development, and team meetings to continually enhance your knowledge and effectiveness in trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to provide the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves individuals dealing with the debilitating effects of trauma, including survivors of abuse, natural disasters, and other life-altering experiences. By focusing on trauma-informed care, you will guide clients through various stages of healing, ensuring they feel safe and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of two years experience post-licensure in a clinical setting, particularly with trauma-focused therapies.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.
\n
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.
\n
• Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two years of experience in a therapeutic role dealing specifically with trauma-related challenges.

• Experience in providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions in both individual and group settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
