Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patient backgrounds, focusing deeply on trauma histories and identifying effective treatment pathways.

• Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that are tailored to foster recovery and resilience in each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide patients through their healing journey.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions that facilitate processing trauma, enhancing coping strategies, and promoting overall emotional well-being.

• Engage in collaborative care, regularly consulting with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated support for patients.

• Offer crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely and effective support when it matters most.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate patient records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves trauma survivors who may be experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, or dissociative disorders. As a Mental Health Counselor, your work will directly impact these individuals, offering them guidance, support, and proven therapeutic interventions designed to help them reclaim their lives and foster personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred, highlighting familiarity with trauma-related disorders.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions with positive client outcomes.

• Ability to maintain composure and effective decision-making in high-pressure situations is critical for supporting patients in distress.

• Proficiency in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications necessary for modern therapy practices.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value diverse backgrounds and approaches to therapy. Experience with diverse populations, additional certifications in trauma therapy practices, and bilingual abilities can be advantageous in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer:
