Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoughtfully evaluate patients' trauma histories and identify appropriate therapeutic approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and aligning with measurable patient goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to foster healing.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions tailored to help patients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and coordinated care for all patients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and safety planning.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms available, enhancing their understanding of the recovery process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation aligned with legal and ethical standards to support patient care and compliance.

• Participate in weekly case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities centered on trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse array of patients, primarily focusing on individuals coping with the impacts of trauma. Given our specialized approach, you will gain the pleasure of helping clients recover from experiences ranging from early childhood trauma to complex situations that involve domestic violence or natural disasters. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of New Jersey as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect empathetically with patients.

• Capacity to maintain composure and professionalism during high-stress situations.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health setting, particularly with trauma-focused therapies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
