Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health evaluations and preliminary interviews with clients, documenting their case progress accurately from initial consultation through the entirety of their treatment plan.

• Formulate individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing interactive methods to promote discussion and healing.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting interventions as necessary and providing feedback to clients to optimize their recovery journey.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients, especially those requiring hospitalization.

• Identify potential barriers to client recovery and work proactively to mitigate risk factors.
\n
• Educate and support family members and caregivers, equipping them with strategies to aid their loved ones in managing mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve range from individuals experiencing anxiety and depression to couples facing relationship challenges and families coping with trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.

• Successful completion and passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record systems, ideally familiar with AVATAR, to manage client documentation efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience as a mental health counselor.

• Expertise in treating a spectrum of mental health conditions, including addiction disorders and co-occurring physical health challenges.

• Knowledge of best practices adopted by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with a genuine empathy for clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
