Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs using standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews to formulate appropriate clinical diagnoses.

• Create detailed, individualized treatment plans that address the specific goals and needs of clients, integrating evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Provide various therapeutic services, including individual therapy sessions, family counseling, and group therapy, employing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based interventions.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support for clients experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Document all client interactions in our electronic health record system, maintaining comprehensive and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care and referrals for clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and community resources available to them, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay updated on the latest advancements in mental health treatment and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will involve engaging with a varied client base, including individuals across different age groups, cultural backgrounds, and presenting concerns ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and trauma. You will employ a client-centered approach to ensure that each person feels heard, valued, and actively involved in their treatment journey.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW) in Massachusetts.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
