Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify students' needs and formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to address their specific challenges.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused strategies, to support students in overcoming issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral concerns.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducational workshops, and support groups to foster a sense of community and shared understanding among students.

• Collaborate with school staff, including teachers and counselors, to create a safe and supportive educational environment that promotes mental well-being.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring students receive immediate support during critical moments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be the mental health needs of school-aged children and adolescents. You will address a variety of issues, including but not limited to emotional distress, trauma, social anxieties, and learning obstacles. Your empathetic approach will be crucial in developing trust and rapport with students, enabling them to engage in their therapeutic journey actively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensures including LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), or LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) in Massachusetts.

• A deep understanding of various mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Experience conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and creating effective, personalized treatment plans.
