Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients’ mental health needs and create individualized treatment plans that address unique challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to provide individual counseling sessions, focusing on the unique needs of each student, while also promoting psychological growth and resilience.

• Collaborate with clients to set therapeutic goals and actively engage them in monitoring their progress throughout treatment.

• Provide teletherapy services for students who prefer remote options or may face accessibility barriers, ensuring they receive timely and effective support.

• Maintain precise and timely documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to ethical and regulatory standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and stay informed about current trends and best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with youth in educational settings, addressing challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and social-emotional difficulties. Your work will involve engaging students in a supportive and non-judgmental manner, fostering a safe space for them to share their experiences and navigate their mental health concerns. By establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship, you will empower young individuals to thrive both personally and academically.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license in the state of Oregon as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Proven ability to establish rapport and build trusting relationships with clients, emphasizing empathy and respect for their personal experiences.

• Strong organizational abilities that facilitate effective caseload management and timely administrative tasks.

• Exceptional communication skills that foster collaboration with clients, parents, and educational staff.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in school counseling or with youth in mental health settings is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, particularly those pertinent to youth mental health, such as CBT or DBT.
