Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Century Road Counseling Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify and evaluate mood disorder symptoms, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.

• Collaborating with clients to create individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique goals, needs, and preferences, ensuring personalized care pathways.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), promoting effective coping strategies in clients.

• Offering psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care methods, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
\n
• Regularly monitoring and reviewing client progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on their trajectories and feedback.
\n
• Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to provide integrated and comprehensive care for clients.

• Staying informed about the latest research in mood disorders, ensuring your interventions are grounded in current best practices.
\n
• Maintaining detailed, confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development initiatives to enhance your skills and clinical knowledge.

• Advocating for clients to reduce the stigma surrounding mood disorders, fostering an environment of acceptance and understanding in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our diverse clientele may include adolescents and adults, each presenting unique challenges and backgrounds. As such, a strong capacity for cultural competency and empathetic communication is essential to foster therapeutic rapport and effective treatment.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, you must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
\n
• Proven expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, specifically CBT and DBT.
\n
• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to work synergistically with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.

• Exceptional communication skills with a commitment to establishing rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in the following areas is highly desirable:

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an attractive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we provide:
