Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Solace Springs Therapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough initial and ongoing assessments to determine individual needs and treatment requirements.

• Facilitating individual, family, and group therapy sessions focused on developing skills for coping with substance abuse and mental health challenges.

• Creating and implementing personalized treatment plans that reflect the unique circumstances of each client, incorporating feedback and insights gained from ongoing evaluations.

• Engaging actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive care, sharing insights from your therapeutic sessions to fine-tune clients' treatment plans.

• Providing supervision and mentorship to Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and Associate Professional Clinical Counselors, enhancing the team’s overall proficiency and capability.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client demographic consists of students and their families grappling with substance use issues and co-occurring mental health disorders. Your role will involve addressing the specific needs of children and adolescents, incorporating family dynamics into treatment to foster a supportive recovery process. You will employ a variety of evidence-based approaches, tailoring interventions for diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, ensuring each client feels understood and valued.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Possession of an active and valid license in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• A minimum of three years of relevant post-licensure experience.

• At least two years of experience specializing in treating mood disorders, preferably within school settings.
