This is a full-time, remote position that allows you the flexibility to manage your schedule while ensuring you provide essential support to students across multiple schools. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to ascertain students’ mental health needs, developing tailored treatment plans that respect their unique backgrounds and situations.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families, applying various therapeutic modalities suited to the needs of students, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Collaborate closely with school staff, case managers, and external mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for students, enhancing their overall academic and social performance.

• Offer crisis intervention and support to students experiencing acute mental distress, leveraging your skills in de-escalation techniques and compassionate engagement.

• Participate in community outreach and educational initiatives designed to enhance mental health awareness and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be students of various ages and backgrounds who may experience challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and social difficulties. This role demands a high level of cultural competence, as you’ll be working with children and families from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. You will engage with students in a manner that fosters trust and encourages them to express their feelings and concerns in a safe and nurturing environment.

Qualifications\n

• Possess an active and independent professional license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or hold a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Educated with a master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish rapport and build working relationships with students, families, and staff.

• Ability to demonstrate cultural competence in working with diverse populations, adapting approaches to meet specific needs effectively.

• Strong organizational skills, with a commitment to timely and accurate documentation are essential for maintaining client records and other compliance requirements.

Compensation and Benefits\n
