While this position allows for a remote work arrangement, our counselors will primarily support clients in a school setting. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Empower Care, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a variety of critical tasks, such as:

• Conducting initial comprehensive psychosocial assessments for students and their families, evaluating their psychological and social needs.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) tailored to meet the individual goals of students.

• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other mental health professionals to develop and execute interdisciplinary care plans that holistically address student needs.

• Maintaining accurate, timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with clinic policies.

• Providing case management services, which may involve coordinating care and facilitating access to community resources that can support student struggles.

• Participating in regular meetings and patient rounds to ensure an informed, team-oriented approach to patient care.

Your services will primarily target adolescents and young adults within a school setting, addressing a spectrum of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and social difficulties. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A current, valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, with an emphasis on clinical training.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing therapeutic interventions in a similar setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
