Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs, leading to the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services through virtual platforms, working individually with clients, as well as in group therapy settings to address and treat an array of mental health concerns.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, coordinating closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients in acute distress, demonstrating strong crisis management skills and showing compassion and understanding during challenging situations.

• Participate in community outreach initiatives and educational efforts aimed at raising awareness about mental health issues and combating stigma within our service areas.

Your expertise will primarily benefit individuals receiving care at our hospice center, many of whom may be facing not only terminal illnesses but also accompanying mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and grief. Qualifications\n

• Possession of an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A completed master’s degree or doctoral degree in relevant fields including Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with diverse client populations while exhibiting exceptional interpersonal skills.

• Proven cultural competence and sensitivity; adept at working with individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Strong organizational skills accompanied by an attention to detail for accurate and timely documentation of patient records and treatment plans.
