Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments by using standardized tools and personal interviews to identify the specific needs and concerns of each patient.

• Engage in crisis intervention by responding promptly to mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and local resources, assisting them in navigating their recovery.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records in line with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will be working primarily with patients in a hospice setting, often dealing with end-of-life issues, grief, anxiety, depression related to terminal illnesses, and the emotional toll it takes on families. Your expertise will be pivotal in providing comfort and emotional support to both patients and their families during these critical moments, making a profound difference in their mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's or higher degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
