This position is entirely remote, allowing you the comfort and convenience of working from home while serving clients connected to our hospice center in Springfield, Illinois. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Conduct ethical and empathetic individual counseling sessions via secure video chat, offering stable, low-acuity adults a safe space to explore their mental health needs.

• Employ solution-focused treatment modalities to design and deliver individualized treatment plans, ensuring they align with each client's unique circumstances and personal goals.

• Facilitate insightful discussions, helping clients understand their feelings, experiences, and relationships to foster personal growth and healing.

• Monitor clients' progress throughout their treatment journeys, adapting approaches as necessary to nurture the development of healthy coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to coordinate holistic care and contribute to comprehensive treatment planning efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on providing assessment and treatment services to adults facing various mental health challenges, particularly those within the hospice care environment. You will interact with clients who are navigating emotional difficulties related to life transitions, grief, and psychological distress, all requiring a compassionate and skilled response to their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline, such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current state-issued mental health counseling license that allows for independent practice. Candidates should have one of the following licenses:

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
\n
• Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
\n
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
\n
\n
• No limited or provisional licenses, and no history of disciplinary actions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong capacity for empathy and understanding.
\n
• A high level of computer literacy, including proficiency with telehealth platforms and the ability to manage electronic client records efficiently.

• A reliable internet connection and a computer equipped with audio and video capabilities for conducting therapy sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates who have at least two years of relevant mental health counseling experience, particularly in remote or telehealth settings. Experience working with end-of-life issues or in hospice care would be an additional plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 and 104,000 annually, depending on hours worked and experience. In addition to competitive pay, we provide:
