Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and identify suitable treatment methodologies tailored to individual needs.

• Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans centered on trauma recovery and strengthening coping strategies.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing for patients.

• Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions, aimed at helping patients process trauma, build resilience, and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, especially during critical intervention periods.

• Respond to crisis situations by providing critical support and guidance, effectively managing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge about available resources.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating proficiency in trauma-focused counseling practices.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems as well as common computer applications to effectively manage patient documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
