Work Environment\n

This remote position offers flexibility while ensuring access to a supportive work setting. Therapists will work primarily from their home office but will also engage with clients via teletherapy, utilizing secure and HIPAA-compliant platforms. The work environment promotes autonomy, allowing therapists to manage their schedules effectively while ensuring availability for routine sessions and occasional evening shifts as needed.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments and evaluations to accurately determine clients’ mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to inform the development of comprehensive and individualized treatment plans.

• Deliver a wide range of therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups, employing various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused interventions to address a spectrum of mental health issues.

• Engage in regular collaboration with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that clients benefit from a holistic approach to their mental health care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients facing acute psychological distress or emergency situations, demonstrating expertise and compassion in high-pressure scenarios.
\n
• Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at enhancing mental health awareness and reducing stigma associated with mental illness, actively promoting the resources available through Randolph Behavioral Center.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, including individuals of varying ages, ethnic backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses. Many of our clients are coping with chronic pain, terminal illnesses, or other significant life transitions that impact their mental health. Your contributions will play a crucial role in improving their overall well-being and providing them with the necessary resources to navigate their challenges.

Qualifications\n

• An independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required; candidates with a Doctorate will be given preference.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building rapport and establishing therapeutic relationships that respect the unique backgrounds of each client.

• A demonstrated commitment to cultural sensitivity and competence, allowing for effective engagement with clients across diverse demographics.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring that documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in hospice or palliative care settings is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with teletherapy tools and methods, as well as experience maintaining client records electronically.

• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment methodologies and willingness to participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
