Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of clients to determine their mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Monitor client progress and outcomes as an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to ongoing improvement of care strategies.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions via telehealth, employing various therapeutic modalities tailored to client presentations.

• Develop strong rapport with clients and families, promoting trust and open communication to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Provide educational resources and practical support to families, equipping them with skills to assist in their child’s development and mental health journey.

• Utilize coaching models and natural environment teaching techniques to empower clients in their therapeutic processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population primarily consists of children, adolescents, and their families who are navigating various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. You will contribute to creating a nurturing and effective learning environment where clients feel safe and supported in their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
\n
• Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a solid understanding of treatment modalities.
\n
• Current Associate or Licensed status with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (or in progress).
\n
• Demonstrable strong organizational skills and proficiency in documenting clinical hours and reporting.
\n
• Self-motivated and able to independently drive initiatives related to client care and administrative duties.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a telehealth environment or familiarity with virtual counseling platforms.

• Additional certifications in specialized treatment areas (e.g., trauma-informed care, play therapy) are highly desirable.
