Core Mind Mental and Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our specialized child and adolescent psychiatry team in Ontario, California. This full-time remote position plays a vital role in delivering expert mental health care to young individuals and their families, addressing an array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and behavioral issues. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a skilled team of child psychiatrists to promote the holistic well-being of our adolescent patients.

This position operates within a supportive remote setting, allowing therapists to engage meaningfully with clients while maintaining flexibility in their work lives. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, utilizing structured interviews and standardized assessment tools to evaluate the needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect the developmental needs of young clients and involve families in the therapeutic process.

• Provide evidence-based interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and play therapy, to address the diverse mental health concerns of our young clients.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at equipping parents and caregivers with strategies to foster a supportive, nurturing environment.

• Coordinate care with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure consistent, holistic treatment for each client.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating immediate responsiveness and expertise.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, inclusive of treatment modalities and local community resources that can aid in their journey towards recovery.

• Maintain meticulous records in accordance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure timely documentation.

• Engage actively in team meetings, participation in case discussions, and ongoing professional development activities.

• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health to provide informed and effective care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers around providing mental health services to children and adolescents facing various psychological challenges. You will work with young individuals aged 5-18 years, delivering age-appropriate therapeutic modalities and fostering a supportive atmosphere for open communication. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or Psychologist in the state of California.

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent psychological disorders, evidence-based therapy modalities, and developmental psychology principles.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, characterized by a nurturing and child-centered approach.
\n
• Proficient in using EHR systems and familiar with necessary computer applications for record-keeping and documentation.

• Ability to operate collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, showcasing a proven track record in the mental health field.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually.
