Work Environment\n

This position allows for flexible, remote work, primarily within the framework of school settings. You will partner with educational staff to meet the mental health needs of students, ensuring that support is seamlessly integrated into their daily lives. Your standard hours will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as necessary based on patient scheduling and school events.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the needs, strengths, and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, adjusting interventions as necessary to reflect ongoing assessment results.

• Provide high-quality therapeutic sessions, employing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, and family therapy, to address diverse mental health issues.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at engaging parents and caregivers in the therapeutic process, promoting a nurturing and supportive home environment.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including child psychiatrists and school professionals, to coordinate care and maximize positive outcomes for patients.

• Respond to crises by providing immediate interventions during mental health emergencies involving children and adolescents.

• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment choices, and the availability of community resources, ensuring informed decision-making.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that all records reflect the best practices in care delivery.

• Participate actively in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development initiatives to enhance knowledge and team dynamics.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on children and adolescents experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, ADHD, and behavioral concerns. You will work with a diverse client base, collaborating closely with families to create individualized treatment plans that encourage resilience and healthy coping mechanisms.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience working with children and adolescents preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and experience utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
