Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments, utilizing standardized evaluation tools to identify the needs of children and adolescents effectively.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for both individual and group sessions.

• Collaborate with patient care teams, including child psychiatrists and educational professionals, to ensure seamless and coordinated care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically focuses on supporting children and adolescents aged 5-18 who are facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Our practice advocates for a family-centered approach to treatment, emphasizing a collaborative relationship with families to foster positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Strong foundational knowledge in child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic strategies, and evidence-based clinical practices.

• Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach, capable of building trustworthy relationships with young clients and their families.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

• Ability to effectively work within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to collaborative treatment planning and execution.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within a child and adolescent mental health setting with a minimum of two years post-licensure experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, competitive for the level of expertise and experience.
