Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments of patients aged 5 to 18, using approved diagnostic tools and clinical interviews to identify their needs and formulate appropriate interventions.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, or behavioral disorders.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy, to foster emotional and psychological resilience in young patients.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions that involve caregivers, equipping them with strategies to better support their child’s mental health.

• Collaborate with our team of child psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, interdisciplinary care that meets the needs of patients.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention for children and adolescents facing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and support during these challenging times.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources to promote overall wellness.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that aligns with current legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in professional development activities such as team meetings, case discussions, and trainings to remain updated on best practices in mental health.

• Engage in ongoing research and professional learning to continually enhance therapeutic skills and understanding of child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, and other behavioral issues. By adopting a child-centered approach, you will foster a nurturing environment that encourages open dialogue, emotional expression, and gradual healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Psychoanalyst, or Psychologist in the state of New York.
\n
• At least two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with experience in delivering evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a nurturing and empathetic approach towards young patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
