Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of children and adolescents, gathering information pertinent to their psychological history and presenting concerns.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents, ages 5-18, who present with various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Understanding the unique nature of childhood and adolescent mental health is crucial, as you will need to implement developmentally appropriate interventions that engage not only the young clients but also their families in the treatment process.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in the state of New York as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.

• Demonstrated expertise in child and adolescent mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic practices.

• Proficiency in providing both individual and family therapy to children and adolescents, with proven effectiveness in various therapeutic approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to foster trust and rapport with young clients and their families.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a strong comfort level with technology to effectively manage client records and facilitate telehealth sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
