Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for students to evaluate their mental health needs and devise tailored treatment plans that address their unique challenges.

• Collaborate with school case managers, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic support for students diagnosed with mental health conditions.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during emergency situations, demonstrating your expertise in handling acute distress with compassion and professionalism.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students and their families, ensuring that you provide culturally sensitive and appropriate care tailored to a diverse demographic. You will work with clients from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, enhancing your understanding of intersectionality in mental health issues.

Qualifications\n

• An independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) , Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.

• A master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is essential for this role.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build therapeutic relationships with students and their families.

• A proven ability to demonstrate cultural competence, allowing for effective engagement with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of treatment plans and session notes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
