Healing Hearts Counseling is seeking compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapists for full-time remote positions focused on providing therapeutic services in a school-based setting. Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, offering flexibility while maintaining a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Although the majority of your work will be conducted from home, you will have opportunities for collaboration with other mental health professionals, teachers, and school staff via virtual meetings and discussions to create a robust support network for our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand each student’s unique requirements and collaborate with school staff to develop individualized treatment plans that promote their academic and personal success.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to students using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and strengths-based approaches designed to foster resilience and coping skills.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that engage students and parents, addressing common mental health issues and building a sense of community.
\n
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team including school counselors, social workers, and psychologists to ensure holistic care for students, promoting consistent messaging and support across all levels of their environment.

• Offer crisis intervention services and actionable support during mental health emergencies, ensuring students receive timely care and follow-up.
\n
• Educate students and families about mental health, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations, professional development workshops, and team meetings to share insights, enhance skills, and stay current with advancements in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges within the school system. This role requires sensitivity to the unique experiences of diverse populations, including students from various racial, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of mental health diagnoses, treatment approaches, and evidence-based practices.
\n
• Demonstrated experience conducting mental health assessments and creating appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
\n
• A proven track record in delivering individual and group therapy in diverse educational and community settings.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate rapport with students, families, and other professionals.

• Strong ethical framework and sound judgment in professional practice.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technologies effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in mental health settings is preferred.

• Familiarity with school-based mental health initiatives and programs.

Compensation and Benefits\n
