Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' emotional and psychological well-being to determine the presence and severity of mood disorders.

• Collaborate with students to co-create customized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, goals, and educational objectives.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to school settings and individual circumstances.

• Monitor and document each student's progress meticulously, adapting therapeutic approaches as required to enhance treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students ranging from elementary to high school, each facing unique challenges related to mood disorders. You will work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and school counselors to identify at-risk behavior and implement preventative measures, thus fostering a safe and supportive educational atmosphere. Understanding the developmental stages of your clients is crucial in providing effective therapy tailored to their needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required; candidates with advanced degrees, such as a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling, are preferred.

• A valid mental health counseling license is mandatory (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT) to practice in Washington state.

• A minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling, with demonstrated effectiveness in treating mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
