Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify the mental health needs of students accurately, ensuring that individual treatment plans are tailored appropriately.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other therapeutic approaches to provide effective individual, group, and family therapy services.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with school administrators, educators, and support staff to create supportive environments conducive to student mental health.

• Facilitate crisis interventions, providing immediate support for students experiencing acute psychological distress, and implement follow-up care as necessary.

• Lead educational initiatives and workshops aimed at raising mental health awareness within the school community and reducing stigma around seeking help.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus specifically on children, adolescents, and young adults from diverse backgrounds. You will face a wide array of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns, ensuring that you provide thoughtful, personalized care that acknowledges each student's unique context.

Qualifications\n

• An active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) , Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A completed master's degree or a doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related fields.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of rapport and therapeutic relationships with a diverse student population.

• Cultural competence and sensitivity to address the needs of individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds effectively.

• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities for accurate documentation and timely follow-up.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in school settings or with young populations, strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 , commensurate with qualifications and experience. We offer comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; professional liability insurance; generous paid time off; and holidays.
