Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to effectively identify clients’ mental health conditions, followed by creating comprehensive and actionable treatment plans. \n
- Provide individual therapy sessions employing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques to help clients achieve their personal growth objectives. \n
- Collaborate closely with clients to set therapeutic goals, regularly monitoring and adjusting the treatment plans based on their ongoing progress and feedback. \n
- Facilitate teletherapy sessions for clients who prefer virtual consultations or require remote access due to physical barriers, ensuring they remain engaged in their mental health journey. \n
- Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes, adhering to ethical and legal standards in mental health practice. \n
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development workshops to enhance your clinical expertise and keep abreast of the latest advancements in mental health care. \n
This position primarily focuses on supporting children and adolescents facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional disturbances. Understanding the unique pressures students face, including academic stress and social challenges, you will play a crucial role in equipping them with coping mechanisms to thrive both academically and personally.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A current and valid license in the state of Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is essential. \n
- Demonstrated ability to establish a safe, trusting, and therapeutic relationship with clients, employing exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. \n
- A strong display of empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental demeanor when addressing clients' challenges. \n
- Effective organizational and time-management capabilities to handle caseloads and complete necessary administrative tasks efficiently. \n

- Previous experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with school systems and challenges faced by students can enhance your effectiveness. \n
- Experience utilizing teletherapy platforms and remote counseling techniques to engage clients effectively. \n
- Proven history of collaborating with schools and educational staff to foster positive mental health initiatives. \n
