This full-time remote position focuses on providing clinical mental health services to children and adolescents, helping them navigate and manage various psychological challenges. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately evaluate the needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents seeking help.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's developmental stage, family dynamics, and specific mental health issues.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, addressing conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, empowering parents and caregivers to support their children's mental health journeys through effective strategies and communication.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of child psychiatrists, educators, and other mental health professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care for our clients.

• Deliver crisis intervention services effectively, addressing urgent mental health needs during emergencies involving children and adolescents.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources to foster informed decision-making.
\n
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential documentation of all clinical interactions, following ethical standards and legal requirements.

• Participate actively in team meetings, further enhancing professional knowledge through ongoing education regarding current research and best practices in pediatric mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on children and adolescents facing a spectrum of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, ADHD, and various behavioral challenges. By addressing each child's unique needs, you contribute directly to improving their mental resilience and overall quality of life, while also providing support to their families in creating favorable home environments.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.
\n
• Minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical setting with a focus on child and adolescent mental health is preferred.

• Strong foundational knowledge of child and adolescent psychological disorders and therapeutic modalities is essential for success in this role.

• Experience in providing individual and family therapy for young patients is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
