Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents utilizing standardized tools and evidence-based methods to evaluate their emotional and psychological needs.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care plans for clients, leading to improved outcomes and support systems.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, offering immediate support and stabilization for children and adolescents in distress.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment modalities, coping strategies, and community resources available to them.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation consistent with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for case management.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will directly work with children and adolescents experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Your expertise will be fundamental in addressing these complexities, ensuring that young clients receive empathetic, individualized care that promotes their emotional and psychological growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field, including Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, with a strong foundation in child and adolescent therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
