This full-time position is mainly remote and focuses on providing high-quality mental health counseling services to children and adolescents. Work Environment\n

This position primarily operates in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining the quality of care that our patients deserve. We encourage a collaborative work culture that values each team member's contributions, supported by regular team meetings and case consultations to discuss treatment strategies and patient progress. While the standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasional evening shifts may be necessary to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, utilizing diagnostic tools and interviewing techniques to evaluate the specific needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, integrating evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each patient's unique developmental stage and family dynamics.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions focused on enhancing mental health outcomes, employing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at empowering parents and caregivers to support their children’s mental health effectively.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless and coordinated care for our patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, adeptly managing situations that require immediate attention.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to foster recovery and resilience.

• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) in strict adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and security of patient information.

• Actively engage in ongoing professional development and team meetings, contributing to knowledge sharing and the implementation of best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on young individuals facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. You will provide treatment strategies that are age-appropriate and attuned to the unique developmental and emotional needs of children and adolescents, working closely with their families to enhance overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience preferred.
\n
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic interventions, and evidence-based practices.
\n
• Proven experience in conducting individual and family therapy sessions, with a child-centered therapeutic approach.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building rapport with children, adolescents, and their families.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiar with necessary computer applications.

• A collaborative mindset, ready to work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
