Work Environment\n

This role allows you to work remotely while benefiting from a connected and collaborative team culture. Our outpatient facility located in Long Beach serves as a hub for numerous mental health professionals, where you will engage with a network of psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow therapists. Our work week operates from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to ascertain client needs and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with their personal goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver effective interventions to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that address common mental health issues, promoting peer support and community engagement.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure a holistic treatment approach for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support to clients during mental health emergencies to stabilize their conditions.

• Educate clients about mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and resources available within the community.

• Maintain confidential and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through case consultations, team meetings, and participation in workshops and continuing education courses.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic principles, and effective treatment strategies.
