Key Responsibilities\n

As a licensed mental health therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining meticulous documentation in line with ethical and legal standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents, providing you with the opportunity to support young individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges. You will be pivotal in facilitating therapy that allows these patients to achieve better emotional stability and resilience through personalized care and supportive interventions, which can significantly alter their developmental trajectory.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting.

• Robust knowledge of child and adolescent mental health issues, evidence-based therapeutic modalities, and effective intervention strategies.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on building trust and rapport with diverse young clients and their families.

• Proficiency in using electronic health records and other clinical documentation tools.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with specific experience in family therapy, crisis intervention, and collaborative treatment planning will be particularly well-suited for this position. Familiarity with community resources and support networks in the Syracuse area is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
