Key Responsibilities\n

• Respond to crisis situations, providing immediate support and interventions to ensure safety and wellbeing.

• Educate families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources that can offer additional support.

• Maintaining thorough documentation and patient records, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards via our electronic health record system.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities, staying current with best practices and emerging research in pediatric mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and behavioral issues. Through tailored interventions, you will empower young individuals to develop coping strategies and healthier life skills, ultimately improving their quality of life and family dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Psychologist in California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience working in mental health, particularly with children and adolescents.

• Strong knowledge of a range of childhood mental health disorders and evidence-based treatments.

• Skilled in conducting therapeutic sessions both individually and with families, demonstrating a compassionate, child-centered approach.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to build rapport quickly with children and their families.

• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and ensuring documentation remains accurate and secure.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to shared goals and patient care outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
