Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess the unique needs of children and adolescents during scheduled telehealth appointments.

• Develop, tailor, and implement individualized treatment plans that account for developmental stages, family dynamics, and cultural considerations.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and play therapy, to effectively address mental health conditions in youth.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, guiding parents and caregivers in nurturing supportive environments for their children.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and social workers to coordinate holistic care and ensure consistency in treatment approaches.

• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques as necessary.

• Educate both patients and their families on mental health treatment options, coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient information in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficiency.

• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The selected candidate will primarily work with children and adolescents dealing with various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A comprehensive understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and best practices in treatment.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and family therapy to young clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
