Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand the emotional and psychological needs of children and adolescents during virtual appointments.

• Devise and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on individual assessments, considering factors such as developmental stages and family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to effectively address a spectrum of mental health concerns.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to enhance communication and support within families, creating a framework for healthier environments for the children.

• Work closely with child psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure a coordinated care approach, discussing case specifics in regular team meetings.

• Provide crisis intervention support for mental health emergencies involving children and adolescents, ensuring timely and effective action.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, empowering them with knowledge about treatment options and available community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is required.

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health issues, treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building and a compassionate, child-centered approach.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, reflecting your expertise and commitment to our mission.
