Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, utilizing evidence-based tools and methods to evaluate the emotional and psychological needs of children and adolescents.

• Provide therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy to address issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, guiding parents and caregivers to foster positive home environments that support their child's mental health journey.

• Collaborate extensively with child psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care for each patient.

• Offer crisis intervention services to support children and adolescents facing mental health emergencies, ensuring their immediate safety and well-being.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations, contributing to the seamless operation of our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Engage actively in team meetings and case consultations to discuss treatment progress and share insights on best practices in child mental health care.

• Stay current on the latest research and developments in child and adolescent psychiatry to continuously enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents presenting with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and various behavioral issues. You will develop trusting relationships with patients and their families, advocating for their needs and empowering them through education about mental health resources and treatment options.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.

• Strong foundational knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and proven evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills that demonstrate a compassionate and child-centered approach.

• Experience in delivering both individual and family therapy tailored to children and adolescents is highly preferred.

• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems and comfortable with technology used in telehealth settings.

• A collaborative spirit, emphasizing teamwork and cooperation in providing holistic care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
