Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments for individuals, adolescents, families, and groups, formulating tailored treatment plans based on the assessment results.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams through regular documentation and meetings, such as patient rounds, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other modalities, to assist patients in achieving their treatment goals.

• Managing casework for assigned patients by consulting with hospital and community services, advocating for the best possible care options.

• Efficiently completing necessary documentation to maintain compliance with departmental standards, ensuring ethical practices in a timely manner.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with a diverse outpatient population at our community health clinic. Our clients range from children to adults, each presenting unique challenges that require a tailored therapeutic approach. Your ability to empathize and connect with clients from diverse backgrounds will be crucial in helping them navigate their mental health issues.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of California.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees are preferred.
