Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through telehealth sessions, documenting client history and presenting issues in detail from initial assessment to treatment conclusion.

• Develop tailored treatment and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, employing evidence-based practices and considering client-specific needs.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, leveraging therapeutic techniques to encourage client participation, self-reflection, and personal growth.

• Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as required in collaboration with clients to ensure alignment with their evolving goals.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Proactively manage referrals for additional services, ensuring clients have access to the resources they need for comprehensive care.

• Provide education and support to family members and caregivers, equipping them with tools to help manage mental and behavioral challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse clientele, ranging from adolescents to adults, experiencing a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California, as well as pass scores on the NCE and/or NCMHCE exams.

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor is essential, demonstrating a solid background in clinical work.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems; experience with AVATAR is a plus.

• Knowledge of psychological and physical health issues, alongside addiction disorders, is highly preferred.
