Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients’ mental health status and needs, establishing a foundation for effective treatment.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address diverse mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders.

• Conduct regular therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to engage clients and facilitate their growth and recovery.

• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities, adapting your approach to best fit the unique backgrounds and circumstances of each client.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

• Provide referrals to other mental health professionals or specialists, such as psychiatrists, when additional support is needed.

• Participate in team meetings and training sessions, contributing to a collaborative environment that enhances service delivery and client outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience providing mental health counseling.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and cultural competence in therapy practices.

• Proven ability to deliver both individual and group therapy using inclusive and responsive approaches.
\n
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, with a calm demeanor when working under pressure.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in computer applications.

• Commitment to ethical practice, professional boundaries, and client confidentiality.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in community health settings or with populations experiencing economic challenges is a plus. Knowledge of specific treatment approaches, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, or trauma-informed care, is highly desirable. A track record of providing care to clients with complex mental health needs will set candidates apart.
