Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive assessments of clients, focusing on the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, to obtain an accurate understanding of their mental health status.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, integrating their personal goals and preferences to enhance engagement and motivation in the therapeutic process.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), effectively tailoring approaches to meet individual client needs.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies, fostering a supportive and understanding environment.
\n
• Track client progress diligently through documented notes and ongoing evaluations to ensure the treatment plan remains effective and dynamically adjusts to changing needs.
\n
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated care that addresses both psychological and pharmacological aspects where necessary.

• Stay informed on the latest research, trends, and therapeutic techniques in mood disorders to enhance treatment efficacy and inform clinical practices.

• Maintain meticulous records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the confidentiality and security of client information.

• Participate in case consultations, regular team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities which aim to cultivate your skills and knowledge in the treatment of mood disorders.

• Advocate for clients both within and outside our organization to help destigmatize mental health issues, promoting awareness and understanding of their unique challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Our service-oriented approach prioritizes understanding each client's unique situation, creating a safe space for them to address their mental health concerns, and facilitating recovery and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Oregon.
\n
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Solid understanding of psychopharmacology in the context of mental health treatment.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse clients effectively.
