Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day activities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy Sessions: Lead engaging group sessions that encourage clients to connect, share experiences, and support one another, fostering a sense of community and belonging.

• Providing Individual Therapy: Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions where you will empathetically guide clients through their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, helping them develop personalized coping strategies and actionable plans for improvement.

• Creating Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to design individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that align with their unique needs and aspirations.

• Monitoring Progress: Utilize various assessment tools to track and evaluate client progress, employing feedback methods to refine approaches for optimal effectiveness.

• Collaborative Care: Engage closely with your multidisciplinary team members to ensure that all aspects of a client’s care are coordinated seamlessly, consulting on complex cases and maintaining communication regarding treatment developments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on supporting young adults aged 18 to 30 who are navigating mental health challenges. Clients may benefit from our Partial Hospitalization Program, which combines evidence-based and holistic approaches to address a variety of psychological issues. Your work will empower them to realize their potential, overcome obstacles, and thrive in their personal and professional lives.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in a relevant field, such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• A valid Massachusetts LMHC license to practice independently.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with clients on a personal level.

• Experience in therapeutic settings, particularly with young adult populations, is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
