Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to ascertain the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals, preferences, and the latest evidence-based practices.

• Utilize therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to provide effective interventions.

• Offer education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorder management, coping strategies, and treatment options.

• Track and monitor clients’ progress throughout their treatment, adjusting plans as necessary to improve outcomes.

• Work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integrated care for clients.
\n
• Stay informed about advancements in mood disorder research to continuously enhance your therapeutic approach.

• Document all interactions and treatment notes accurately and confidentially, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in case consultations and regular team meetings to foster collaboration and share best practices among peers.

• Advocate for the mental health needs of clients and actively contribute to reducing the stigma surrounding mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve clients grappling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our clientele encompasses a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and life experiences, allowing you to diversify your therapeutic approaches and increase your impact on individual lives. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Massachusetts.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and medical teams.

• A history of achieving positive treatment outcomes with clients facing mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills that facilitate building rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
